Oh my, I just realised it´s been more than a month since the last post. To make a long story short there hasn´t really been any powder here within the last month, it felt more like summer skiing. We skied some park, but didn´t take pictures or videos. I have to say that it was a bit of a mental challenge to get back on the kickers after yet another injury. But once you get over that fear, it´s just such a great feeling!
Anyways, Norway is what I wanted to talk about. Ever since I skied at Folgefonna in Norway during my exchange studies it was a dream of mine to come back to the Norwegian fjords in winter. I was able to convince Lukas to come with me (it wasn´t hard), we found some time and in April we will actually fly over to Norway. I still can´t believe it!
We are actually flying to Kiruna in Sweden, pick up a car there and then drive over to Norway. The plan is to start with some skiing at Riksgränsen and around Narvik. We had planned on skiing on the Lofoten but that depends on the snow (it´s not that great this year from what I heard). After that we want to drive to Tromso and then tour around the Lyngenalps. We have 20 days so I think we´ll be able to handle the occasional down days that I remember from the Norwegian weather.
We´ll drop more details soon and if anyone has recommendations we´re always thankful ;)
Cheers, Max
